Best taco joint in Orlando. Food comes quickly and a great staff.

Went here yesterday. Absolutely loved the mushroom quesadillas! Even the squash blossom ones were very good. Good service. I have never tried those combinations in my veggie tostada but it was actually very tasty. Everything appeared to be very fresh.

I had a Brisket taco and a Chorizo quesadilla. WOW! The flavors were amazing and blended very well. One of the staff helped me squeeze into a tight parking spot during lunchtime rush, so I commend them for having the foresight to take of that and the staff was very kind. The place was very busy, but I got through the line very quickly and received my food in a timely manner. All in all, it was a great experience. I'll definitely be stopping by with the family the next time we find ourselves in that part of town again.

"The best brisket quesadilla I've ever had, I want to cry!" - my boyfriend. He wishes that he bought 2. The sangria and place is amazing!!

Every time my friends ask what I want to eat, I say "not Mexican." I have never wanted to chow down on enchiladas or quesadillas or anything of the sort. So when my friends mentioned this place for dinner, I was pretty much tagging along for the sake of being thought of as an appeasing and amazing friend (which I am btw). From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted by friendly and sweet staff. They hyped us up to order, gave us free samples of their sangrias, and by the end of my order I basically had decided that Mexican was my favorite food and everyone who had ever said I didn't like it was lying. Cue the food. I got the brisket taco and the chicken quesadilla. As the really cute and amazingly talented dancing server walked towards me, with the tray that held my succulent meal, Ave Maria played in the background and archangel Michael graced me with his presence and blessed my meal. The taco was just one taco, but it had the perfect amount of meat in it. The brisket was juicy and fresh, and the quesadilla was the best quesadilla I've ever had. My friend got a queso, which is not a queso dip- but more like melted cheese (think cheese on a pizza). It was also incredible, my taste buds were like WOAH buddy you had neglected us for too long (sorry my dudes). Basically, you need to try this place.

Brisket tacos with cilantro, onion, and creamy (slightly spicy) avocado mix.
You will not be sorry.
The tacos are not cheap and the price does not indicate size. If you're hungry you'll need at least three.
Pair it with a Pacifico or a Corona.

5 stars for the best brisket quesadilla of my life!! Not even kidding guys!! The brisket was so tender and juicy topped with Chihuahua cheese and avocado-tomatillo salsa... I'm seriously still amazed at how good it was! It was like a bomb of flavor exploded in my mouth & hey I ain't mad at that! I also ordered the Chori-pollo Taco which was just as good! What's even better... (Yes it get's better!) I ordered a quesadilla, taco, mango Jarito and chips & guac for $18!! Can't go wrong guys especially not for food of this quality. Only downside is more so the location. Parking is VERY limited and given the volume I saw on an early Saturday afternoon I feel a bigger space will be needed sometime soon!

This was great. This was really, really great.
My girlfriend and I were in Winter Park one evening, and we needed to find a place to eat. I pull out my Yelp bookmarks, and this place popped up and caught my attention, so we come here. The building is super chill. There's an indoor ordering place and outdoor only seating, and there is artwork and murals covering everything. So we get in there and the lady asks us if we've ever been there before. We say no and she tells us that their shtick is that they are a la carte authentic Mexican street food. I'm excited. There aren't a lot of places where you can find the real stuff.
So we decide to order a side item and two tacos to split between the two of us. We order the Esquites (Corn off the cob, bone marrow broth reduction, epazote, queso cotija, lime), and the Brisket (Seared brisket, onion, cilantro, avocado-tomatillo salsa, lime) and Chori-Pollo (Chorizo, shredded chicken, onion, cilantro, avocado-tomatillo salsa, lime) Tacos.
The esquites was mind-blowingly good. The corn is definitely off the cob. There were pieces of the cob floating around in there, which is fine. It's street food. The broth reduction was just so full of that scrumptiousness that you can only get out of bone marrow. You know what I mean. If you don't know what I mean, you gotta try this to find out. Please.
The tacos were on four-inch tortillas or so, double stacked, and the toppings piled on top. The brisket wasn't the most tender stuff in the world, but the toppings and the cook on the tortilla made up for all of that. It was a very good taco. The chori-pollo was also great. The chorizo was nice and chorizo-y, and the chicken wasn't too dry. That avocado-tomatillo salsa that was on all of this was like a delicious glue that put the meal together.
Then, we wanted dessert, so we ordered the Xocoflan (Layer of chocolate cake topped with a layer of flan de queso). It was a rich, dense, chocolate cake topped with a flan that was on the firmer side. I don't like loose flans. The majority of the sweetness actually came from the flan on top. The cake wasn't too sweet but still tasted like yummy chocolate. I recommend.
Overall, this was a great little meal at a great little price. I do plan on coming back, because my one regret was going for the standard and not springing for the El Mananero Taco (Seared brisket, chorizo, refried beans, scrambled egg, Chihuahua cheese, avocado-tomatillo salsa, lime). I'll be back for you, though... One day...

The food was amazing couldn't complain for one little thing. It was so good I decided to come back the next day but little did I know that it's closed on Sundays and that ruined my day. Not only did it ruined my day but 4 more cars pulled up by me and realized this place was closed on Sundays :(

Overall I would rate this place 4 stars for a quick bite and chill atmosphere. If I was to rate this solely on quality and uniqueness of the food I would give this a solid 3 stars. We order the 2 brisket and 2 chicken tacos, chips and guac, and strawberry sangria. We also wanted to try the xoco flan but it was still cooling down so we couldn't order it :/. The brisket tacos I would say was the best thing we ordered. One thing we did notice was that this batch of brisket was really dry and we can tell who ever made it tried to add some oil to give it some shine. But other than that the flavor was there. Unlike the brisket, the chicken was DRY and bland! After eating the chicken taco my mouth felt like it just did a work out and I had to take a sip of the sangria (that had a hint of spice) to give my mouth some flavor. The chips and guac was "ok" we added some lime to give it some more flavor. We will be returning though to try more of the other tacos and maybe get a chance at the xoco flan! Just avoid the chicken taco!!!!!!

I love my hood tacos. But more upscale taco joints cannot be denied. That is, if they have good food.
The newest spot is Hunger Street Tacos owned by two brothers who went from a table and tent pop-up concept to a fully operational sit down restaurant. A big change to undertake all while competing to satisfy hungry guests who all have different thoughts about what authentic tacos are.
After a few visits, my favorite items are the brisket quesadillas and the chicharrn de queso, which is wave of fried cheese you can break off into pieces and dip into guacamole or salsa. The brisket has been consistently bursting with flavor and juices that I love so I haven't strayed to much to other parts of the menu.
What I didn't like was the Chicken Tinga. The chicken has a sweet flavor to it which I personally don't prefer, but it's said to be a love it or hate it dish. It also looks like new items are coming soon as seen on the menu board which included fried avocado, so I'll be back to try that!
Color follows you everywhere, even into the bathrooms which I of course I love. What I'd love more is overflow parking that didn't have me running across Fairbanks, but that's Orlando for you. We are all one meal away from getting hit by a car.

I'm not going to be to harsh with my review of this business as it is my first time and the overall appeal and customer service was exceptional. I would say, that if you choose to eat here and don't like a lot in grease in your food you should pick the chicken. Because I was a noob, I chose as many different taco flavors as I could with their taco Tuesday special, the brisket, the campechano, and the chorri-pollo. The two brisket taco were, in my opinion, on the verge of sickeningly greasy. The third taco, the chorri-pollo met my Goldilocks standard of just right, good flavors, and cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend trying this place out, the art work is mesmerizing, the culture is hip, and the atmosphere is relaxed.

OMG yes! Not your typical Mexican street tacos but definitely close to the taste of with added flair and definitely not your Tex-Mex blend but still oh so so so good!
We saw the sign a couple of days ago and I am always up for anything new so today, we gave it a try and was so so pleased to have listened to my instinct.
We ordered the El Mananero, the Campechano tacos and had the squash blossom quesadilla and mushroom quesadilla.
All items were deeeelish! Their brisket, chorizo meats were so flavorful. Portions were typically small but generous in toppings, fillings, etc.
The quesadillas were out of this world delicious!
Not only were they filled generously but the flavors were so good and the crisp on the tortilla was perfect!
Definitely excited to be back and try out the rest of their menu items!!!

New taco spot, why yes of course I had to visit!
Came here with my fiance and definitely came hungry. We came almost an hour before closing and my fiance overheard one of the employees (maybe the manager) saying "make sure everything is still fresh" which impressed me since it was close to closing you would think you would get the leftovers of the day. Nope! Everything came out fresh and really good!
We ordered the squash blossom quesadilla, and it was really good! You get 2 slices of it, and the flavors were nicely seasoned. We also ordered the hibiscus taco, very different but REALLY good. This actually was my favorite. It had a hint of sweetness, a bit of a bite/chew from the hibiscus and the guac on top really paired well with it. I'd definitely order this again. Also got the brisket taco which was okay, the meat was too soft for me with a soft taco. I needed some crunch factor in there, but don't get me wrong the meat was good. We also ordered the Chorizo-Pollo taco, which was just meh. I think if the chorizo wasn't included then I could taste what the chicken would have tasted like. Since the chorizo had a ton of flavor the chicken was just in the backdrop. We ordered esquites as a side, I'm a sucker for corn and when I read that it was basically like an elote, but with bone marrow included I had to get it. But it was too watery for me, and I didn't really taste the bone marrow. This definitely had a kick to it since it was a little spicy for me.
Overall, it's a good place to get tacos, and tacos that are different.

4 out of 5, and that's cause the chicken in my taco was dry. Besides that, this place is great. The brisket was amazing, and the street chips, a light snack, were on point. Their avocado-tomatillo salsa is amazing, and everything was fairly priced. I got dinner for basically $9. Definitely coming back to try the other stuff on the menu!
